About
Hello! I'm Anna,
a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist living in Idaho with a passion for guiding women to clear skin and optimal health through personalized nutrition.
My journey here wasn’t a straight path but one shaped by a genuine love for science, food, and health from an early age. Growing up, I was fascinated by how things work, spending hours exploring everything about the human body from the encyclopedias in our home to the rhythms of gardening, cooking and baking. Cooking became more than a hobby; it was a form of stress relief, expression and a way to experiment with ingredients to nourish and heal.
My career in nutrition began when I chose to shift from being a pre-med major to dietetics after discovering the nutrition courses that were available at my university. This was the perfect fit for me because it allowed me to combine my love of science and food. I understood that nutrition impacts every aspect of our lives, every day of our lives. After working in hospitals and long-term care centers, I felt drawn to help others proactively improve their health, instead of waiting until it becomes a problem landing them in the hospital, or affecting their daily lives – preventing them from living their best lives. Like many women, I’ve seen the shortcomings of conventional medicine when it comes to understanding our unique needs. Growing up, we were rarely sick in my family, but when we did get sick, my mom always had a natural remedy to help us get better. I saw firsthand the power of natural remedies and homegrown, homemade food. Having good food helped us stay well.
My interest in nutrition for skin health truly took root during my third pregnancy, when I developed eczema on my face and hands and worsening acne. The experience was challenging, impacting my self-esteem to the point where I never went without makeup, and obsessed about how to stop the itch. While the dermatologist prescribed topical steroids and harsh acne treatments, they offered only temporary relief and frustrating side effects. Determined to find a better way, I leaned on my background in nutrition to heal myself naturally, even experimenting with homemade skincare solutions. Now, I enjoy the freedom of going barefaced most days – a feeling that’s been incredibly liberating, mentally, emotionally, and physically. All of these experiences shaped my belief in finding solutions that focus on root causes rather than quick fixes.
I founded my practice to bring this philosophy to life, helping women address chronic acne, food sensitivities and gut health by targeting the root causes through nutrition. I know how frustrating it can be to deal with these problems, especially with all the misinformation about what works touted by anyone with a platform. I believe every woman deserves personalized care that respects her individual journey from an expert, which is why I’m committed to offering compassionate, evidence-based guidance tailored to you.
With me, you’ll find a partner who listens deeply, explores beyond surface symptoms, and works alongside you to create a lifestyle and nutrition plan that truly supports your goals, creating lasting result. Whether you’re struggling with chronic acne, gut health issues, or want to enhance your overall wellness, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My goal is simple: to empower you with the tools to find relief, confidence, and radiant skin from within. Let’s embark on a journey towards a healthier, more radiant you – together.
